A match can open a door. You still decide whether to walk through it, and you can close it at any time.

Keep the first move comfortable
A Slide match does not create an obligation to reply, meet, date, or explain. Keep first contact low-pressure, accept a no, and stop if someone seems uncomfortable.
Use the controls
You can remove any crush or match. For a connected account, Safety options let you block future matching and submit a private report. The other person is not told that you blocked or reported them.
Meeting someone
If you decide to meet, choose a public place, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transportation, and keep personal or financial information private until you feel comfortable.

For a Slide account or safety concern, email support@slide.fyi. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for an online report.
